Features of AAC Block

Oven dry density of Wallnett block is 550 to 650 kg/cum, i.e. just 1/3rd the weight of conventional clay bricks. and 1/4 weight of dense concrete. Due to which dead load on foundation as well as structure are reduced ensureing economic design thereby saving in concrete and reinforcement steel.

Wallnett AAC blocks provide well insulated Interiors by keeping out warm air in summer and cold air in winter,thus reducing Air conditioning cost by
30% and it reduce load on HVAC system eventually saving electricity.

Wallnett AAC block have one of the highest hourly fire-resistance ratings compared to any building material, and non-combustible. The melting point of Wallnett AAC block is more than twice the temperature in a
building fire.

Wallnett AAC blocks has an excellent Sound Transmission Class (STC) rating of 44 to 45 db. Hence ideal for Residential,

Wallnett AAC blocks structure being of closed cells, there is less capillary action and high surface activity allows for fast evaporation of moisture.

Wallnet AAC blocks are made up of inorganic materials, which do not allow the growth of pests, termites and ants. As they do not nest in AAC blocks.

Wallnett AAC blocks have an attractive appearance and is readily adaptable to any style of architecture, almost any type of design can be achieved with these blocks.

Breakages of Wallnett AAC blocks are comparatively less than 5%, compared to convention bricks having to 15%.

Wallnett AAC blocks are 7 to 8 times the size of clay bricks, reducing the need for
mortar joints by over 66%. Hence save cement and sand. Light weight properties lead to a lighter dead load on building
structure resulting reduction in reinforcement steel and concrete. Due to surface accuracy of the blocks
the thickness of plaster on Wallnett AAC blocks is comparatively less. Thus save cement, sand and labour cost.

Wallnett AAC blocks are steam cured, hence no need of curing after production unlike concrete blocks. At the time of
construction block can be joined using ready made jointing chemical, so no need curing of wall, where as at least
7 days curing required for clay bricks / concrete blocks walls.

Time consumed in building walls decreases due to light weight of the product and its size over conventional clay bricks decreasing lead time as well as installation time.

Wallnett AAC blocks are 100% Green building material and is a walling materail of a choice in LEED certified buildings. Wallnett AAC blocks are energy & resource efficient in the sense that it uses least amount of energy and material per Cu.M. of products. Unlike bricks manufacturing process which uses precious top layer agriculture soil, Wallnett AAC blocks uses fly ash (65 to 75% of its weight) thus provides most constructive solution to the Nation's fly ash utilization problem.
